Welcome to Neuk Farm Cottages
Neuk Farm is a busy working farm situated about 1.5 miles outside the small village of Cockburnspath, just off the A1, on the East Coast between Dunbar and Berwick-Upon-Tweed. The farm extends to approximately 723 acres and is owned and run by 2 brothers, Arnot and Steven Findlay. They operate a mixed farm growing mainly wheat, barley, turnips, sprouts, sometimes oats and beans, and also have approximately 340 sheep and 250 beef cattle.
There are 4, non-smoking, holiday cottages on the farm, in front of the farm steading, looking out onto open countryside. Each cottage has 2 upstairs bedrooms, 1 room with a king-sized bed and 1 room with twin beds, sleeping up to 4 people in total (bedding, towels, cots and high-chairs are provided at no extra cost).
A 25% booking fee and letter of confirmation is required within 14 days of provisional booking. The balance to be paid 14 days before arrival. All cheques should be made payable to Mrs Lynden Findlay. On the day of arrival you may gain entry to your cottage from 16.00 hrs onwards and on the day of departure, it would be appreciated if you would vacate your cottage by 10.00 am prompt.
Keys can be collected from myself at Neuk Farmhouse. Follow the road past the cottages for about ¼ mile and you will come to Chesterfield Country Retreat (caravan park) on the left side of the road. There are 2 houses opposite the caravan park, on the right, and I can be found in the farmhouse. On the day of departure, the keys must be returned to the farmhouse.
Registered Assist dogs only are allowed in the cottages.
For safety reasons there is no access to the farm.
